Although financial gifts are important for the maintenance of our building and support of our ministry as well as being a biblical mandate to tithe; it is our labor, and own hands and feet that do the work of the church and the mission of Jesus Christ. There are a great number of ways that you can bring your own special gifts to the work of the church. These range from Reading or Serving during the Mass, to joining the Altar Guild or volunteering at Loaves and Fishes; assisting with the children, tending to our gardens, or just being a face of Christ in the world. Saint Ireneaus once said “The glory of God is a human being fully alive.” Find what makes you truly alive and do that for the glory of God.
