Sunday Service 9:30am

Outreach

Loaves and Fishes

The Last Sunday of every month, the people of St. Peter’s celebrate the shorter service of Morning Prayer and convert the parish hall into a dining establishment for any and all who wish to partake. We are joined by servers from multiple area churches. Tables are set with china and silverware as guests are treated to a wonderful meal absolutely free of charge.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have changed our program to be a pick up service with full meals packed in containers and handed out to all who stop by. We also serve a number of meals to residents of First Holzer Apartments each month

This ministry, founded by a few visionary members in 1993, continues to grow and develop as the needs of our community change. We are always welcoming volunteers and feel free to stop by and share a meal.

Pantry Box

On the grounds of St. Peter’s there stands a small box known as a Tiny Pantry. From time to time members of the Gallipolis community leave non-perishable items in the box for those in need. As the door says, TAKE WHAT YOU NEED - LEAVE WHAT YOU CAN.

Recovery Programs

St. Peter’s supports the efforts of all those in recovery and love all without judgement. Because of this we are proud to host meetings of both AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) multiple times each week.

Community Engagement

From time to time we take the opportunity to reach out to show love to our neighbors in various ways that present themselves throughout the year. Whether it's hosting regular Blood Drives or giving out free water and cold popsicles during the Independence Day Celebrations, we are always happy to do our part for our community. There is room for you. Join our volunteers and outreach and bring your specific gifts to the St. Peter’s family.
